Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

POPCORN ARMY is at an early stage: this site is a landing page and a questionnaire, and the app it describes is not built yet. There is no account to create, nothing to install, and nothing to pay for. This policy covers exactly what the site does.

1. Who is responsible

Follow Your Instincts UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Birkenstr. 14, 67067 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany
hello@followyourinstincts.xyz

2. What we process

Your answers in the questionnaire

The questions ask about pornography use, arousal and how you cope with stress. Under Art. 9 GDPR that is special category data, and we treat it as such. Your answers stay in your own browser (localStorage) so you can close the tab and come back, and they are attached to the anonymous analytics events described below so we can see which screens people leave on. They are never linked to your name, and there is no account here to link them to.

You can delete every answer at any time from the menu in the top right of the questionnaire (“Start over”), which clears the browser record.

Product analytics

We record which pages and screens are reached, which buttons are pressed, how far down a page is read and how long a screen is looked at. These events are anonymous: no name, no account, no IP-based profile, and session recording is switched off entirely. If you arrive through a campaign link we also keep the campaign label from the URL (e.g. utm_source=tiktok) — that label is shared by everyone who clicked the same link and does not identify you. Advertising click IDs are deliberately not captured.

Your email address, if you give it to us

If you ask to be notified when we launch, we store the email address you type, the plan that was selected when you asked, and the time. That is the only place on this site where you tell us who you are, and we use it for one thing: to email you when POPCORN ARMY goes live. No newsletter, no sharing, no selling.

Server logs

Our hosting provider produces short-lived technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to serve and protect the site. We do not use them to build profiles.

3. What we never do

  • We never record which adult sites you visit. This build has no blocker and no browser extension — there is nothing here that can see your browsing.
  • We never take payment. No card details are collected anywhere on this site.
  • We never record your screen. Session replay is off, precisely because it would capture the answers described above.
  • We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Running the site and its questionnaire — Art. 6(1)(b) and (f): performing what you asked for, and our legitimate interest in a working, measurable website.
  • The answers you give about pornography use — Art. 9(2)(a): your explicit consent, given by answering. Skip any question you would rather not answer, or leave the questionnaire; nothing else on the site depends on it.
  • The launch email — Art. 6(1)(a): your consent, given when you enter the address. Withdrawable at any time (below), with no effect on what came before.

5. Who receives data

  • PostHog — product analytics, on EU servers. Receives the events described above and, when you join the launch list, your email address.
  • Vercel — hosting for this website.

Both act as processors under a data processing agreement. Where a transfer outside the EU/EEA occurs, it is covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Analytics events are kept while this test runs and are deleted with the project. Your email is kept until we launch and write to you, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@followyourinstincts.xyz and we will act on it. Since the questionnaire is anonymous, the fastest way to erase your answers is the “Start over” menu item; for the launch list, one email from you is enough. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in our case the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for two things: remembering where you are in the questionnaire, and the analytics identifier that keeps your events from being counted as a new visitor on every page. Both are functional to the site working and measurable; there are no advertising cookies.

9. Changes

If this site grows into the product it describes, this policy will be rewritten before that happens — not after.
